The Burning Kingdoms series by Tasha Suri (I don't read much romance or fantasy but these books? Actual perfection!)
This is How You Lose the Time War by Max Gladstone and Amal El-Mohtar (I cried so hard I had to stop reading cause I couldn't see past the tears.)
Open Water by Caleb Azumah Nelson (I had to underline entire pages of this cause the writing was that good.)
Women, Race & Class by Angela Y. Davis (Such an insightful book!!!)
Exquisite Cadavers by Meena Kandasamy (Super short but very interesting, especially with how it's formatted.)
Magnolia Parks by Jessa Hastings (Plain dumb fun! Everyone's insufferable, everything's messy, it's a wild ride if you're looking for this kind of thing.)
Batman: The Long Halloween by Jeph Loeb (All my favourite Batman stories are the detective and mob stories and this is one of the best ones in the genre!)
Absolute Wonder Woman Vol. 2: As My Mothers Made Me by Kelly Thompson (An absolutely gorgeous comic with such vivid characters and some of the best god designs I've ever seen!!)
