-'In Which Uraraka Ochako Decides to End the World' by ijustwanttodestroy
summary: Ochako knows what would happen if she nullifies gravity from Earth.

It’s very simple—rocket science sort of simple, in fact. What would happen is—are you ready? Okay, here we go, what would happen is: everyone would die.

unfinished, 6/10 chapters, no major ship, word count: 45,655

-'split knuckles are an epidemic (and other reasons why bakugou katsuki should never be allowed around fellow children)' by wispetzz (heroicallyheroic)
summary: “If you keep thinking of yourself like that you’ll be useless forever! You’re weak ‘cuz you cry all the time! Not ‘cuz you don’t have a Quirk! Just keep punching people and you’ll be less useless, Deku.”

or: instead of simply letting himself get beat up, izuku fights back. (and it's all bakugou katsuki's fault for encouraging him.)

-'count burglaries: one’s life' by SpeedingCheetah
summary: There were six things that Izuku knew to define his life. One: he was quirkless. Two: the world seemed to hate him for it. Three: his mom wasn’t able to help him anymore. Four: he was going to have to figure it out. Five: some people looked at him and understood what kind of position he was in, even at a young age.

And six: the world had robbed him of his ability to grow up normally.

Izuku was quirkless in a world that was no longer built for people without any superpower at all. Though the numbers said that there was still a decent population of quirkless people alive today, those numbers did no transfer over to Japan—as twenty percent of the whole world did not mean twenty percent of one country. What it did mean was that for the people who were alive, quirkless, and desperate to survive, well, it meant you dug yourself a grave and laid down.

(or: as long as there are communities of quirkless people, however damaged and messed up, there would be a culture for izuku to learn.)

-'Complicated Creation' by Elemental
summary: Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.

Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.

Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.

-'Mutuals' by Gentrychild
summary: Prompt: au where Izuku and Shoto keep getting asks sent to each other’s blog by accident and friendship ensues.

finished, 1/1 chapters, no major ship, word count: 5,155

-'the mysterious identity of u/throwaway_0107' by athellos
summary: silent_syntax • 347d

who is u/throwaway_0107? okay this one is going to be a long one. buckle up.

a few weeks ago i came across the post AITA for blowing up at dinner and running off? by the user thowaway_0107 on the r/AmITheAsshole sub. it's a fairly old post that got decent track back then. it has around 3K upvotes at the time I'm writing this, and with reason, since it's a very vague AITA from a 16 yr old boy about storming off after his father refuses to let his younger brother sit with them at the dinner table.

OP replied sparsely in the comments, and while the general consensus was NTA, i was asking myself the same questions everyone else was, so I decided to click on throwaway_0107's profile to see if they had any other posts.

and then i fell into a rabbit hole that made me end up wondering… just who the fuck is this guy?

.

A mysterious reddit user sparks the attention of those who like conspiracy theories. (Un)lucky for them, they might just uncover the truth behind Japan’s N°1 Hero.

-'Looping Back to the Beginning' by Feneris
summary: Where Class 1-A finds itself in a time loop centered around their first year at UA. After getting over the usual angst, they decide that the best way to grow as heroes is by antagonizing dangerous villains for fun and amusement.

-'Wilted Snowdrops' by eldritchgoats
summary: Todoroki Rei is a fragile woman.

Or at least, that’s what they'd tell you. That's what her husband thinks, of course, and that's what the media thinks whenever he deigns to bring her out to various Hero Galas and whatnots. She doesn't pay them much attention, but the media still tries to ask her questions, as a few reporters always manage to wiggle into the events for publicity sake. What is it like being the wife of the Number Two Hero? they ask. How is Endeavor as a husband?

If Todoroki Rei were a braver woman, she would tell them that she is only a wife in name; really, she's no better than a prime breeder cow. She is useful only when she is able to procreate, and if she were not, she'd be sold as meat.

But Todoroki Rei is meek. So she just smiles a fake smile, dips her head whilst feeling the burn of Enji's eyes boring into her, and says the honor is all mine.

The problem with all of this is that this is Todoroki Rei.

Himura Rei, however, is not weak.

And Himura Rei loved her family more than anything.

(or, how Himura Rei takes back her name, takes back her life, and becomes a role model her kids can look up to, for once.)

-'Coin Toss' by FaeQueenInu
summary: His memories of his childhood were a blur. All he knew was that they involved Izuku, that they revolved around him. ‘Attached at the hip’ is what his mom would say when talking about the two. Codependent. Inseparable. Though technically not brothers by blood, they were a team, equals. In their eyes, they could never be anything less than that.

And one day, they would step out into the world, side by side, as heroes.

The main thing he remembered about that time was how easy it was to be happy.

Then he got his quirk.

And Izuku…didn’t.

~or~

What if Izuku and Katsuki stayed friends throughout their childhood, and how that one little change could alter their future.

-'El Manisero' by Lila17
summary: I deeply hope this becomes known in the fandom as "that fic where Sero runs a peanut cartel at UA"

"Reading this felt like having an existential crisis" -my sister, 2018
